Application for selection of beneficiaries for the financial year 2022-2023 under Mother and Child Assistance Program is underway

Brief description of the program Allowances are available for the first and second (two) children under the Mother and Child Support Scheme. In this program, pregnant mothers can do self-enrollment by going to the union council or sitting at home through the Union Digital Center and Information App. New beneficiaries are enrolled in the program every month and benefit is provided from the following month. The applicant's pregnancy information is verified through the Department of Health and Family Planning. In this allowance program, you are currently getting an allowance of Rs 800 for 36 months. Besides payment of allowance, regular yard meetings are organized on mother and child nutrition, psycho-social development and intellectual development of the child. According to the National Social Security Strategy of the government, half of the total children aged 0 to 4 years, i.e. 50%, are planned to be covered under this program by 2026 with a potential number of 65 lakh children. Summary of service receipt     The union committee accepts the application of the beneficiary and makes a resolution subject to the selection. The list of the beneficiaries and the application forms reach the office of the upazila women affairs officer between the 20th of every month.     Upazila Women's Affairs Officer scrutinizes the applications received from the union on the 25th of every month and finalizes the list of beneficiaries through Mother and Child Support Program MIS subject to necessary allocation.     Thereafter payroll is prepared for payment of allowances to the finally selected beneficiaries by 29th of every month.     800/- per month allowance is automatically paid to the beneficiary's account number through G2P system from the next month after payroll. Duration of benefit 3 years Required money for free Place of receipt of application for allowance Union Parishad Necessary documents     Photocopy of valid National Identity Card of course     Photocopy of valid ANC Card issued by Upazila Hospital / Community Clinic / Union Family Planning / Any Non-Government Development Organization providing maternal health care     Photocopy of recent ultrasonography report and film     One copy of passport size photograph     Account No. of any preferred mobile bank/scheduled bank opened in own name     Pregnancy Certificate by Upazila Health Officer/Upazila Family Planning Officer     Citizen Certificate/ Certificate issued by Union Assistant Land Officer/ Birth Registration Certificate Terms of service A. First or second pregnancy (any time) b. Age at least 20-35 years c. Family monthly income not more than 8000 rupees d. Poor, disabled mothers will get priority e. Only has a homestead or lives in another's place f. No agricultural land of own or family, no pond for fish farming G. The claimant must be at least 20-24 weeks pregnant at the time of application as a beneficiary -More poor will get priority - If the first and second child dies during pregnancy or within 2 (two) years of birth, the third pregnancy allowance will be payable. -An annuitant will get maternity allowance once in a lifetime for a period of 3 (three) years - If the child dies due to any reason or if the specified cycle is incomplete due to miscarriage, she becomes pregnant again after 3 (three) years of maternity allowance, provided other conditions are fulfilled. - The application form must be signed by the applicant Officer in Charge Upazila Women Affairs Officer
